More volunteers are need to support the fund raising efforts of Council 12126. Our charitable works and parish support depend on successful fund raising efforts like the Rabies Clinic and Golf Tournament which in turn depend on participation by our Knights. We average 23 attendees at Council meeting out of 87 total members

Fanin Special Olympics
Our council12126 was well represented at the 1st annual Fannin Special Olympics Spring Games, held on Friday, May 1st, at Fannin HS football stadium.
An army of volunteers produced a very enjoyable event for some 200 Fannin and Gilmer Co. athletes, from 6 schools.
Our Knight volunteers ran 8 different sport events, served as timers and as Group leaders. GK Don Wirtz also presented a check for almost $900 to Sandy Walden, Fannin S.O. Director, to help their cause.
Special thanks to Knight volunteers; Mark Fiedler, Jerry Jordan, Dan Dilworth, Jim Pavao, Nick Capelli, Don Wirtz, Dan Kauffman and special helpers Alyce Wirtz and Barb Homer.
All involved were pleased with the event and impressed by the dedication and spirit of the athletes.
